Challenge

After an initial chat it was clear to see that the bold claims from this young baking company were in fact true. Their products were delicious and proving extremely popular with their loyal following. Yet their brand simply wasn’t aligned, and as such the business had struggled to grow.

Previously named Cathy’s Cakes, they wanted a brand they were proud of and communicated their fun, modern and simple service. They wanted to take baking digital and give their customers the same in-store experience online.

Strategy

After our pitch (and lots of cake eating!), sevenseven were awarded the project. We set about uncovering the real story behind their business, spoke to their existing customers and researched their ideal future customers.

This information was vital and not only told us what their customers wanted but also how best to deliver it to them.

Solution

The new brand called Yummiest, makes their customers smile, offers a simple to use eCommerce cake ordering service, and utilises Facebook to connect with their customers and drive traffic through Facebook advertising. Website traffic is up 340% and more importantly orders have increased by 180%.
